REGULATIONS OF THE XV MARCH CICLODEPORTIVA LAS 4 CIMAS 2018
Art. 1.– The 4 CIMAS is a cyclo-sporting walk of the regulated in the article 9 of the Regulation of “Cycling-Cycling for All” of the RFEC within the framework of a cyclist specialty that conceives this sport as a physical exercise for the purposes of leisure and tourist or cultural, excluding competition. The test will be subject to the provisions of articles 1 to 14 of annex II of Royal Decree 1428/2003, of November 21, which approves the General Circulation Regulations for the application and development of the articulated text of the Law on traffic, circulation of motor vehicles and road safety, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 339/1990, of March 2.
Art. 2.- The 4 CIMAS will have the official exit at 08:30 on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at C / Sebastian Pérez in Gérgal (Almería). Its route will be 160 km to finish at the same place where the control will close at 17:00.
Art. 3.- The 3 CIMAS will have the official exit at 10:00 on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at C / Sebastian Pérez in Gérgal (Almería). Its route will be 110 km to finish at the same place where the control will close at 17:00.
All participants who wear the official jersey of the March on the day of the race will have preference in the starting box in both events.
Art. 4.- Registration fees have a cost of:
Federated cyclists € 35 (VAT included)
Cyclist NO Federated € 45 (VAT included) (includes day license)
Art. 5.- Only those over 18 will be participants. To participate it is mandatory to be in possession of the corresponding cycling license approved by the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC), or to subscribe the day license with the insurance provided by the organization. They are the only valid insurance accepted by the authorities.
The participation in the test is under the responsibility and own risk of the participants. In this sense, the participant accredits having a valid medical certificate for the day of the march.
Art. 6.- IT IS ONLY CONSIDERED A VALID REGISTRATION when the registration fees have been paid. That is, there is NO possibility of pre-registration and payment when collecting the number. The payment can only be made online with a credit card through the secure payment gateway proposed by the organization on the official website www.las4cimas.com
Art. 7.- The inscriptions are considered DEFINITIVE so in the case of not being able to participate there will be no refund of the registration. The inscriptions are strictly personal and non-transferable and can not be used by anyone other than the one registered. It is not possible to substitute one participant for another.
Art. 8.- The time control will be done electronically by using a chip, which is attached to the numbered plate.
The time control system has demonstrated its total reliability, so that it will automatically be given as NOT CLASSIFIED to the participants who do not have a control step in all the points:
Departure at the scheduled time.
Other control points located along the route.
Art. 9.- Disposal system:
Any participant to be overtaken by the broom vehicle “End of Trial” is considered out of it, and must deliver dorsal, chip and bicycle plate; making use of the bus broom.
If any participant decides to leave at any point along the route and decides to return by their own means, they should notify the Organization as soon as possible. The organization will have a mobile phone number for possible incidents and withdrawals printed on the back of the chip card.
There are eliminatory control points, with the following maximum times of passage: They will be communicated by the organization in advance.
Art 10.– The number of bibs will be collected on Friday, September 21, 2018 in Almería (the location will be informed in advance) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on the same day as the race. 07:30 and until 08:10.
All participants must carry, in a mandatory and visible way: the chip and the bicycle plate (these form a single unit). The cyclist who does not have the bicycle license plate visible will be excluded from the tour by members of the organization or by the forces of order.
THE PLATE must be worn on the front of the bicycle, clearly visible without bending, and without hiding or altering the publicity. (The CHIP is attached to the plate, forming a unit with it).
The bib number and chip are personal and non-transferable items. The person registered can only participate with the number assigned to him and accepts not to allow the use of it to other people. No claims will be admitted due to loss of the chip or placement in an inappropriate place.
All the participants will start at the same time the timing, since the start will be given foot to ground after the neutralized, both for the exit of the “4 cimas” and the “3 cimas”.
Art. 11.– Any participant who is seen towed by any vehicle will be sanctioned by the Organization. Prohibition of companion vehicles in accordance with the Traffic Regulations. The law enforcement agencies will detain accompanying vehicles, which must be held responsible for the penalties that failure to comply with the traffic regulations causes.

Art. 13.- The organization will have, during the development of the test and of permanent form of doctors, ambulances, UVI, bus broom and a service of showers in the arrival, as well as a zone of parking for the cyclists in the population of Gergal
Art. 14.- The organization will have mechanical assistance throughout the event but is not obliged to provide service to all participants. In case of breakdown, the labor will be free, but the spare parts will be borne by the participants. Only repairs that can be solved en route will be taken into account, except for punctures. All participants must carry their spare parts and be self-sufficient. The mechanical assistance of the organization is a courtesy service.
Art. 15.- THE USE OF THE APPROVED CYCLING HELMET IS OBLIGATORY.
Art. 16.- The Provincial Traffic Headquarters, Civil Guard, Municipal Police, Civil Protection, will ensure the safety of the march.
Art. 17.- All participants must scrupulously observe the provisions of the Road Safety Law and its Regulations. Who does not comply with the law will be expelled from the march and subsequent editions. The inscription in the test supposes that the participant assumes the risks inherent to the participation in a test open to traffic, and that it excludes the organization from the proof of responsibility for any incident or accident derived from the participation in the test.
Art. 18.- The organization is not responsible for any accident that could be cause or victim the participant, which must be covered by the corresponding federal license or accident insurance contracted to the organization in case of not being federated. Neither is it jointly and severally liable for the expenses or debts incurred by the participants during the test, nor for the loss or damage that may be suffered by the bicycles or other equipment of the participants. The participant exempts the organization from any responsibility for loss or deterioration of personal objects for any reason.
Art. 19.– In order to collect the bib number it is COMPULSORY to present the DNI and the RFEC license in case the insurance proposed by the organization has not been subscribed, as well as the Sworn Statement.
Art. 20.- The organization reserves the right to make the appropriate changes in the course, when there is some force majeure, or any other circumstance that may occur and beyond the control of its will that, in its sole discretion, makes it convenient or necessary. , without the participants having the right to request any kind of refund or reduction of registration fees. Likewise, the Admission Right is reserved.
The organization may agree to suspend the test, either temporarily or permanently, when there are circumstances beyond the will and control of the organization or governmental measures that affect the general safety or freedom of movement of people. In case of permanent suspension, participants will not be entitled to reimbursement of registration fees, but will have preference in the allocation of seats of the next edition if they re-enroll.
Art. 21.- Image rights. The acceptance of this regulation implies that the participant authorizes the organizers of the 4 CIMAS to record all or part of their participation in the same, agrees to use their image for the promotion and dissemination of the image of the 4 CIMAS in all its forms (radio, press, video, photo, DVD, internet, posters, media, etc.) and gives all the rights related to its commercial and advertising exploitation that it considers appropriate to execute, without the right to receive any economic compensation This article is also available for photographs.
Art. 22.- The mere fact of registering for this test implies acceptance of these regulations and the waiver of all rights against the organization, renouncing any legal action that may arise from their participation in the event.
Art. 23.- Strictly, the penalty will be given to those participants who:
Do not respect the traffic code.
Do not respect the security slogans indicated by the forces of order and by the organization.
Do not go through the exit control and by others located on the route.
They mess up or degrade the itinerary, throwing away rubbish.
Have their own support vehicle, hindering the progress of the rest.
Behaviors that prevent the normal development of the test and that go against this regulation.
The members of the forces of order and of the organization, will take note of those who perform some of the behaviors indicated above.
The organization acquires the commitment in front of the rest of the participants and the authorities to sanction them in an effective way. The penalty will be:
Disqualification of the test, without the right to a diploma or medal.
Inclusion in the lists of sanctioned participants, for later publication.
Prohibition to participate in other editions of the test.

Art. 24.- The organization will designate a group of participants whose function will be to ensure the safety of the event. These collaborators will have the faculty to communicate to the organization the behavior of any participant, of the behaviors described in article 23. These communications will have the same value as the denunciations made by the organization itself.
Art. 25.– The organization will not assume any responsibility if the event is suspended or postponed due to force majeure.
Art. 26.– The diplomas and medals will be handed out after the arrival of each participant. They will not be sent by mail. Obligatory for the winners to receive trophies on the podium, which will not be sent by mail.

Art. 27.- LAS 4 CIMAS guarantees full compliance with the rules of Protection of Personal Data, and thus, in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, the signatory is informed and gives his consent to the incorporation of their data to the existing automated files in La Peña and to the treatment of them for their use in relation to the development of administrative, commercial and other activities of their own.
